Great, by basic.

Very welcoming staff, beachfront, nice bungalows! Also I enjoyed the massage by the beach.

Accommodations are very basic. Nothing was made in the house to make the stay better. No insect repellent provided (and there are a lot of them) No towel hooks in the bathroom (why?????) Almost no electricity sockets. And no adapters (even by request). Very old kettle.

Lovely hotel it’s the potential to be exceptional

This hotel is small and boutique on the most gorgeous beach. The pool, restaurant and bar are gorgeous. Food is excellent. The rooms are a little basic in style but that adds to the charm.

The staff really let this place down. It feel like it’s run by a bunch of kids who are more interested in standing around chatting together than helping guests. They speak little to no English so it means they can’t really help you. The reception team literally know nothing about the island - don’t even have a map and can’t tell you where anything is

Loved it!!!! The staff were amazing

The location although remote was great! We travelled as a family and felt very safe. Despite the fact that the place was being renovated, it was very well groomed and staff was extremely attentive

staff were lovely and helpful welcoming and eager to please.

the property is in need of repair, pathways rough, and dilapidated, many areas falling to bits. the pool was chlorine full so that it was horrible to be in.

Too expensive for what you get. Not great, not terrible ;)

The hotel is located on the beach and there are many stores and scooter rentals close. The beach is beautiful and perfect for swimming and night walks.

Pictures are 10 times nicer than reality. Room was pretty good though, but the pool area, beach beds and so on were just not good.

Beach was great.. ...nice pool...AC strong... Good size Room....lots to do on beach... Bar staff very nice ... Esp the boy... Food ok... Drinks ..lovely.. Coconut shakes ..

No sun beds on beach..area . ....welcome was poor..not friendly...she was miserable.... Massage place behind glass..very hot...again..very unfriendly. .there is one further up beach that's nice . Rats making noise during night scratching....really annoying... Never got room I booked...got cheaper one.. Difficult to get taxi.... No hot water ... No English channels. ..

great stay if you want to honeymoon or chill and just relax beaches are amazing

the view is amazing right on the beach

some of the staff were hard to deal with confusing money and orders up very slow with service beds are not the softest

Salad Beach is perfect, relaxing, quiet and beautiful.

Seems like everyone forgot to care about their work. Nothing really finished, set up, take down, the cleaning was 1/2 done. Sometimes they would clean your room well, the next day not at all. Things like ash trays around property not cleaned or garbages emptied...it’s like they are slowly coming out of hibernation. When more people showed up they would put a bit more effort in. It was somewhat funny day to day. Pretty relaxed about customer service and facility care but all in all, a peaceful stay.

We went during the off season so we got a really good price for the room. Was in a superb location right in front of the beach. Staff were nice and helpful and the pool was clean. Would definitely recommend

Nice place to stay

Excellent location, the hotel is located in one of the best beaches of Koh Phangan, Salad Beach. The Deluxe Sea View has the best view ever!! The sunset is just in front of the room. The staff is very friendly in the reception and in the restaurant. You can book a ferry and rent a motorbike without leave your passport. The buffet breakfast is good. Comfy bed, clean linen and they provide a nice bag with beach towels to use at Salad Beach.

No water the following morning of the Full Moon Party. The housekeeper didn't replace Soap even when you stay the whole week. You must leave your passport if you want to pay your laundry and restaurant expenses on check out. They do not offer many sunbeds, and many of them are used by people who are not staying at the hotel. All beaches at Koh Phangan are dirty (maybe rubish from Full Moon Party beach) but during my stay at Villa Cha Cha some guests used to removed the trash every morning from the sea.

Visit before highseason starts.

Before the high season starts, it's a nice and peaceful beach. They upgraded our room which was nice because we had paid a high price when booking our stay.

There could have been more variation in the breakfast. Same things every morning. No cheese or ham for the bread. Only white toast. Same fruit even ! Something wrong with the myesli, it was awful !? And they could cover the food for the flies ! Not looking nice when there are flies on the food. We had luch couple of times. VERY small portions, overfried chicken wings, not that good food. When complaining about noise on the beach in the night time (after 01), the staff said they cannot do anything about it. Music playing in the restaurant daytime and evenings, too loud tekno music ! Lot of people did not like it, tried to play their own music.

Location is great, breakfast was nice, when we arrived and...

Location is great, breakfast was nice, when we arrived and asked for connecting rooms, we immediately got few options to look at and choose from.

Basic things like hand soap were missing, water supplied by the hotel weren't so drinkable and the reception desk didnt really understand what we ate complaining about.

Terrible hotel I advice you to drop this hotel or do a serious review.

The hotel was filthy. It is not a 4 star hotel not even fit to be 2 stars. The furniture on the beach are broken and need painting. The rooms are terrible. The corridors are filthy and full of bugs and geckos. Everything was terrible.

No water in shower, and GIANT lizards.

-On the first night we came back to the hotel at 4 in the morning after the half moon party. THERE WAS NO WATER TO SHOWER WITH. I had to wash myself with a BOTTLE! The morning after, I went to the reception to get some answers, and he just smiled and said "sometimes we have water, sometimes we don't" I've told him that this isn't normal and I washed myself with a BOTTLE, and he just smiled and replied with the same answer. - The hallway to the room is swarming with bugs and giant lizards, the only thing stopping the lizards from getting in to the room, is a piece of newspaper. -BREAKFAST- When we booked the hotel we got an email offering breakfast for 500 baht a night, at the check-in they offered 400 baht a night, and on the menu the breakfast set is 360 baht. They tried to overcharge us before we even got to the hotel. Waitress in the morning is lazy and just sits in the kitchen where she can't be seen, one morning nobody even saw us waiting for a menu so we ate in another restaurant, the place has lots of bugs and flies were in the milk and yogurt jug. -On the last night we booked the hotel taxi for the next morning (we were leaving koh phangan). We showed up on time and the driver just sat there on his phone even though he knew he was supposed to drive us, when I told him that we need to go he said he needs to check something, overall we left with a 15 minute delay and had a ferry to catch. We wouldn't go back there for any reason.

Poor service. Had to send food back as it wasn’t cooked. Any time I wanted to order anything I had to look for a staff member. No cutlery even when food arrived. Worst service ever!

Comfy bed and clean rooms Good stop over if flying out of the nearby airport which is a maximum 10 minutes away.
